Tonight, footage taken on the streets of Moscow showed armoured vehicles racing to secure the Duma building, Russia’s parliament.
Tanks and armoured vehicles were seen on the streets of Rostov, an important military outpost in Russia, from where Prigozhin reportedly believes the missile attack was personally directed by Shoigu.
Roadblocks manned by special forces were set up around Moscow, as footage showed an armoured motorcade whisking Putin to the Kremlin for an emergency meeting.
It is understood the shady Wagner thugs have already passed the first checkpoint on their way to Novocherkassk, where the army headquarters are.
In a videotaped rant circulated on social media and broadcast to Russians after TV channels were apparently hacked, he vowed to deploy 25,000 soldiers to topple the country’s leadership.
He said: “Those, who destroyed today our guys, who destroyed tens, tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers will be punished.
“I’m asking, no one resist.
“Everyone who will try to resist, we will consider them a danger and destroy them immediately, including any checkpoints on our way.

Good question. I find Americans, left and right, to be remarkably parochial. Stuff also happens in foreign parts for foreign reasons.
About as successful as the attempt to get Lenin’s Latvian Brigade to kill him. But it makes good copy for the paid Uke propagandist who understand little of history and even less of military reality. Wagner has no air- none this is an op against a now out of work “contractor”.
After all Prigo is no Skorzeny- he’s a tubby oligarch with emotion on his sleeve.
Guess its not just some Putin hating conspirscy theorists saying it.
Well, these guys are mercenaries and somebody has to be paying for this action one would think.

I am not sure how much control Putin has over the nuclear arsenal now since he is flying around, trying to get into Kazakhstan and being refused entry. At this point I doubt any rational military people would obey an order to send off nukes. Even Putin does not seem suicidal if he is trying to escape somewhere.
Meanwhile, as of 6 am EST, Saturday, it was reported Wagner was at the last bridge entering the Moscow area. It was suggested that once thy successfully crossed that bridge, Moscow would probably be theirs without too much trouble. All the govt. people are hung over, sleepy, worried, and miserable. Many officers (especially the younger ones) are failing or refusing to follow orders, and at times even are willing to join Wagner.
