Tonight, footage taken on the streets of Moscow showed armoured vehicles racing to secure the Duma building, Russia’s parliament.
Tanks and armoured vehicles were seen on the streets of Rostov, an important military outpost in Russia, from where Prigozhin reportedly believes the missile attack was personally directed by Shoigu.
Roadblocks manned by special forces were set up around Moscow, as footage showed an armoured motorcade whisking Putin to the Kremlin for an emergency meeting.
It is understood the shady Wagner thugs have already passed the first checkpoint on their way to Novocherkassk, where the army headquarters are.
In a videotaped rant circulated on social media and broadcast to Russians after TV channels were apparently hacked, he vowed to deploy 25,000 soldiers to topple the country’s leadership.
He said: “Those, who destroyed today our guys, who destroyed tens, tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers will be punished.
“I’m asking, no one resist.
“Everyone who will try to resist, we will consider them a danger and destroy them immediately, including any checkpoints on our way.

Russia lost 1.7 million men in WW I (and way more in the following Civil War). This war's casualties, while tragic for those involved, are still a pittance in comparison.
Back then it was the Russian Empire (and later the Soviet Union). Modern day Russia is smaller. Their demographics are not what it was in the past.
He'll just get replaced by another strongman. Like Yevgeny Prigozhin. Or Ramzan Kadyrov. But maybe the stupid war in Ukraine will end.
