One would like to know which one of the geniuses in the press gallery axed that question. Surely someone was playing "straight man" so that the Admiral could officially say, "Sorry, these guys got squished down to atoms in a matter of microseconds, frankly."
Someone please tell me that was the case.

Journalism schools do not require math or science beyond basic levels.

I was texting with a friend yesterday about the dumb questions asked by the Press.
“these guys got squished down to atoms in a matter of microseconds”.
We need to spend a few trillion dollars to recover those atoms, just to be sure....
