My whole body has not lost any hair. Arms, legs, chest, pubic, nose, ears....etc all still there and getting longer. Only lost hair on head. My beard is growing like crazy. I don’t understand this preference by nature.

I’m going to blame the invention of hats. Once we had hats to cover our heads with, a bald head is no longer a big survival disadvantage, so that mutation was able to keep pinging around the gene pool.
Now the ladies that got a mutation so their hair fell out probably were not able to so easily compensate with just a hat. So that mutation probably didn’t propagate so well.
