Will have to. nothing left to recover..............
They had the sound of the USS Scorpion imploding in 1968 off the coast of the Azores.............
...similar to people going to events and spending the entire time looking at their phone recording it vs. just enjoying it.
I don’t get it. Do they capture the video to show others that they watched the event on-screen just like others on TV? ...just so they can say “but I was there!” (watching it on my screen).
Will the carbon fiber manufacturers survive the tort lawyers?
It’s probably a good thing there were no fetishized classes of people on board.
Let’s hope the disregard for prudent operating measures will be a lesson to others .
Maybe the foolishness of disregarding experience of others will be a checkpoint on others hubris.
They’re dead. D-E-D. dead.
“History doesn’t repeat itself, but it does rhyme.” - Mark Twain (attrib)...............
From day one..............
They could be alive, there were some strong swimmers in that sub. /sarc
“Presumed dead” is such a stupid thing to say about people in a sub that imploded over two miles underwater in the cold, cold North Atlantic.
If they had been alive for any length of time, I cannot imagine the horror they went through. There is no way to know if the craft was vertical or horizontal. They didn’t have a true waste station so fear and tears probably made the air unbreathable. The darkness, the hopelessness, knowing no one could hear them scream or cry - my heart breaks for them- especially the boy. Rest in Peace.
Can someone explain to me why we are searching for bodies?
IT’s SOP, but they won’t find much I think.
They would have been immediately squashed into a bloody mush, bones, flesh, skulls everything and all together in one blob.
Then, since it’s been 4 days in the open ocean, they would be dispersed and remains eaten by every fish in the nearby sea...........
Don’t cry, you are projecting yourself into their imaginary experience. Sure it is tragic but doubtful they experienced much misery. It probably didn’t take long. A catastrophic implosion would be a few seconds maybe 12 at the very most. Not enough time to take in a breath to hold. Imagine a soda can. It resists being crushed until it starts being crushed and then it happens all at once. They may have seen a crack form and some water seeping in but they wouldn’t have had enough time to say oh shit after that.
Amongst the dead, woke’s very own Stockton “Crush” Rush.
Ain’t no fish down that deep.
There are some scavengers, but the remains would have floated to the surface..............
we are the sheeple and they tell us what they want us to know....
I think they did it out of national security concerns and respect for the families privacy................
No 50 year old White men, but everybody onboard was “impressed”.
