While surfing the web I've come across images of celebrities (mostly women), AI generated images, many of them in compromising positions and many with little or no clothes on.
My question is how is this "art" allowed, someone is using AI to create, in many cases, convincingly realistic nudes of women, celebrities that can be seen in films an on tv.
Is this sort of thing covered by the 1A or is there so much of it (and yes there seems to be a great deal of it), that it cannot be stopped.
I cannot imagine that some of these young women would actually approve of images of themselves, in positions that seem to show them bearing everything God gave them.
It's a weird thing but I suppose it's just one of those things that folks take for granted now.

Interesting thoughts. I don’t know how the law is written but is computer created images of what appears to be a child but isn’t a real child considered illegal?

Now, I am going to answer Michael’s qustion.
There are really two questions here.
One about creating xxx pictures in AI (or any picture in AI).
The other is using somebody else’s work product to create an AI image. I will answer this first.
In the recent Warhol case the Supreme Court ruled that you cannot use somebody else’s work product with out permission. If you want to create an AI image of anything, you must either take your own picture of it/them or get permission from the owner of the picture. I would think this would apply to a drawing or painting also.
Thus most of the AI images out there are in violation of copywrights (assuming the copyright has not expired) as they are basing it on some previous photo or other image.
I have seen people post on YouTube and Facebook that they are using the orginals under the fair use clause of the copyright act. It is a stupid disclaimer. If they are generating hits for revenue, then they are violating the fair use clause, otherwise it does not matter as copyright is meant to regulate payment for use. (The funny thing is I see post thi disclaimer for stuff created outside the US and posted on Facebook/YouTube from outside the US. The copyright code only applies to US product registered with the Copyright office.)
As to the first question, I would think their would be libel/slander consequences to the creator, but since these AI images have little value, it would be difficult to procecute for damages.

thats a good point. Probably why some of the verses sound clunky. I need to go back and read some of Revelations again, or find a good book on it’s breakdown.
I only know splatters of it from sitting in a fire and brimstone Pentecostal church for a few years.

I have never seen any AI generated photos of celebrity females but my page is inundated with images of Keanu Reeves in situations that you just know he would never be in. Also , you can tell it is contrived because often the body does not match the face or there is some glitch in the image. I think it is a criminal pastime and should be banned.
