Wonder if it is indeed from the submersible, will it be identifiable with pieces big enough to recognize and verify?

I wondered about that too given how small the thing is and huge debris field it’s in.

The surroundings of the Titanic are well mapped. They even found shoes from the Titanic, so the area is flat and looks like a bare sand beach. Anything new will be noticed. This is new. Also, yes, they will be able to identify lots of pieces. I don’t think the Coast Guard would release this information if they weren’t confident, they’d found the sub.
