The robots may be needed to sustain China’s industry with the demographic collapse. Also many countries that have used China to manufacture product are moving operations to other countries such as Vietnam or Mexico.
Using the U.N. stats, which are questionable at best, China’s population is forecasted to decline by 110 million by 2050 and 600 million by 2100. Given how China has manipulated data I would bet that the demographic apocalypse will be greater.
Won’t need the robots if there isn’t any demand due to reduced population...and the return on investment then goes away.
