Bradford Cohen, Black’s Florida-based attorney, decried Hunter’s apparent slap on the wrist, alluding to “2 tiers of justice” which he claims led his client to be sentenced to 46 months in prison for the same crime that President Biden’s son has been charged with.
“2 tiers of justice? Kodak was charged for the same crime. Got over 3 years. Mr. Biden will not serve a day. Feels right? Do FBI agents and federal authorities take cases personally?” Cohen wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Black, a two-time Grammy Award nominee, pleaded guilty in 2019 to providing an incorrect Social Security number on a federal gun purchase form in order to buy three firearms from a Miami-area shop.
The attorney added that in his opinion, far less serious crimes have resulted in penalties that involve some sort of incarceration.
“Even in the case of paying off coaches to get their kids into college came with a prison sentence. One even got 2 weeks, even though she was scoring no jail time. The system was so petty that they made her surrender to a federal prison for 2 weeks! But in this case nothing,” a dismayed Cohen wrote.
Black was pardoned by former President Donald Trump on his final day in office.
The rapper was among the 73 individuals pardoned by Trump on Jan. 20, 2021. Another 70 people had their sentences commuted by the outgoing president.

(b) reduce all penalties for tax fraud and gun application violations to Hunter Biden’s level
(c) release from jail anyone unjustly convicted of such crimes

Never knew Trump pardoned this guy. But now we see - he has a public ally, or at least a public foil, when a similar case of Biden corruption is swept under the rug by the deep-state and its media.
Just imagine what pardoning Assange could have done for him?
Its obvious Hunter got a sweetheart deal nobody else gets from the feds. Its equally obvious this was due to politics. The DOJ is massively corrupt and everybody can see it.
Trump needs to hammer the Democrats and the corrupt Establishment over the head with this....especially with Black and Hispanic voters. As a guy who has clearly been the victim of a political vendetta by the DOJ and Democrats, it has special resonance coming from him.
ie. He’s clearly legit. The Establishment is trying to take him out. Look at all the ways they’ve tried to get him that they never did to anybody else who was president or who ran for the office. They’re corrupt and they’re scared of Trump. What does that tell you? The same people who hate you and attack you hate him and are attacking him.
If I were the Trump campaign, I would advocate that he hold campaign rallies in inner cities.
Kodak has publicly backed Trump on stage before.

I would suggest looking at his rap sheet before making any comparisons. pleaded guilty in 2019 to providing an incorrect Social Security number. He put a different SSN because he has felony convictions.
