No. What they’ve shown is that the climate warmed long before climate warmists had a collective brain fart.

OK, I’m putting that as # 1047 on my list of things to worry about.

If it happened then, it could very well happen again, especially since global temperatures are reaching a similar threshold today. And life continued to thrive because that is what it does.

the resulting environmental catastrophe is hard to fathom. Scientists predict sea levels could rise by 3.3 to 5 meters (11 to 17 feet) around the world,
So the unfathomable catastrophe is about two to three fathoms.

And also note how they reverse the scenario around...what they should be saying is that their discovery proves that maybe as little as 68k years ago, the ice sheet had totally collapsed naturally, and the two bodies or water were connected.
They should also be then asking...how many times and how often has this happened NATURALLY previously?

The shared secrets of their ancestors do not bode well for the future health of our planet.
The planet does not have health. Even if it did, who is to say what is good or poor health. I stopped reading there as the author has zero credibility by saying such things. It has nothing to do with real science.

It is as if they believe natural processes just ceased to take place once we came on the scene.

I’m having trouble fathoming your fathoms in relation to the Fathom Catastrophe

This "direct historical connection" suggests that around 125,000 years ago, the massive 2.2 million cubic kilometer (530,000 cubic mile) West Antarctic ice sheet that separates the two bays had fully collapsed into the sea.
IOW, no it doesn't.
Thanks Red Badger.
