A cold-hearted bowhunter shrugged off a sobbing boy who confronted him about hunting in his Long Island town, telling the child that death is simply “a part of life,” new video shows.
Dominick Lobifaro, 30, was confronted Sunday by an Oakdale man and an animal-loving youngster who weren’t happy to see him scoping out a nearby wooded area of state-owned land apparently too close to their home, according to a clip of the heated encounter.
“Hey, the kids wanna know — why you wanna kill deer?” the unidentified man asked Lobifaro as he sat in his truck.
“Cuz I eat them,” Lobifaro, of Brooklyn, replied, prompting the boy with a hockey stick in his hand to quickly cut him off.
“What did the f–cking deer do to you?” the boy demanded.
Lobifaro warned the pair that he was recording the escalating squabble, which erupted in front of several other kids on scooters and bikes, video shows.
Moments earlier, the unidentified man told the children playing outside that Lobifaro came to the area to “kill all the deer,” causing one of them to start crying, he told The Post.
“I’m sorry that they’re crying — you need to explain to them that it’s part of life,” Lobifaro continued.
But that explanation didn’t satisfy the child, who then asked if Lobifaro would like to see one of his own pets killed, the footage shows.
“I’m not trying to do anything bad,” he replied. “And I’m going to eat [the deer]. Instead, you let somebody else kill it.”

Glad I live in Alaska. The “Town deer” are off limits but no one will bat an eye if you drive down Main Street with several sets of hooves and horns peeking over the bed of your pickup. Venison and moose are always on the menu. No explanations required.

Sadly, that “meat” is no longer meat.
If deer are allowed to reproduce unmolested you will soon have an ecological disaster as happened in the 1920s North side of the Grand Canyon.

Many towns when they are overrun by deer today will quietly contract out with certain hunting organizations, and will go in at night with night sighted rifles with silencers and quietly wipe out and remove most of the deer.
You’d think the Hunter would have more forceful arguments at hand. Maybe he’s never run into such illogical hypocritical idiots before? That can leave you a bit off balance.
Better to keep his cool and wait for the authorities to get there. He had a permit to bowhunt the land he was scouting.
Long Island needs deer to slam into elite cyclists.
Road-killed deer should be all the argument he needs.
The kid should be forced to write a report on a half dozen nature programs, as well as reports of injuries from drivers and deer in the roadway in the United States.
The kid and his parents need to go to the eye doctor to get their vision checked because they look in the mirror every day and don't see that they have canine teeth and eyes in the front of their head as predators do.
Deer were put on Earth by God,for us to eat and survive !
A good friend of mine hunts every year and is good at it. He gave me a sausage with Venison, cheese and Jalapeno and it was amazing.

Yes, gated communities in NC contract with bow hunters/cross bow hunters to cull deer from eating their azaleas, liriope border grass and young trees. Then harvest and butcher and keep some of the harvest and distribute the rest to “hunters for the homeless” and church kitchens. Nothing wasted and nature’s balance preserved. Pretty well fed deer.
Recall that in NJ the public instead wanted the wildlife officer to dart the females with contraceptives— nutso.

Where do they think that steak, porkchop, or sausage comes from, “WHY THE STORE OF COURSE”.
It makes me smile to think they will all starve to death when their government stops beef, pork and chicken production because of “GLOBAL WARMING”!
