“An Alaskan Grizzly can stand up over 12 feet tall, and run faster than a human.”
I got reeeeeeeeeaaaaalllllllly close to two Alaskan brown bears once. They then ran up a sandy hill — a 65 degree hill that we humans could only get up via a rope — at about 30 MPH. Just an awesome sight to see...
That was one of my nine lives used up...

How about the word “Tourons” as in Tourons of Yellowstone” Is that a portmanteau of “Tourist” and “Morons”?
That may possibly be the very first time in my 72 years I’ve used the word “portmanteau.” I love the way it just trips gently off the tongue, too.

He’s also facing an appointment with God.
The moron is fortunate no bears took him up on his stupidity.

Saw a Black bear on a golf course in Massachusetts last week.
Didn't see anyone chasing after it, golfers were just pleased to see it run towards the nearby reservoir.

That may possibly be the very first time in my 72 years I’ve used the word “portmanteau.” A verse from the Irish ditty "Leaving Tipperary" (aka "Goodbye Mick"):
In my portmanteau I have some cabbage, beans and bacon
and if you think I can't eat that, well there's where you're mistaken
For if the ship will pitch and toss, for half a dozen farthings
I'll take me bundle on me back and walk to Castle Gardens.
There's also a Bluegrass version with different words.

“portmanteau” is a weird word with completely unrelated meanings. In that ditty you quoted, it is a synonym for “suitcase.”
In my quote, it means mashing two words together to create an entirely new word.
