If there were, reverse engineering would be an impossibility. If I went back in time to the 18th century with a couple of iPhones loaded with apps and media. The folks then would have marveled at it. Depending on what movies I loaded I might be executed. There is NO WAY they would be able to figure out how it does what it does (I would even bring several so they could take a couple apart.) It would be all they could do to keep it charged without breaking it.

I often wonder how 18th century (or even 19th century) people would react to an iPhone if I was to bring it back in time.
Hell, imagine just having an iPhone in your 1976 high school class?
Of course, any wi-fi or cellular connection would be non-existent. But I could show them so many other features that would blow their mind.
