I don’t really see the conundrum. I work with some homosexuals and we work well together. If they were to choose to “marry” another guy, I could not attend the ceremony because wedding attendees are in essence granting their approval by their presence.
Churches need to have some standards, preferably written in their bylaws that equally treat open sinful behavior. A member who is in an affair should be removed from membership. (I’ve seen it, always with the goal of reconciliation, which I’ve also seen work)
Couples living together are welcome to attend but not have any participatory role. Same for homosexuals.
A tranny with aftermarket modifications, then repents and becomes a believer presents an interesting case. Not sure how to handle that one.
There is objective moral truth. You may not like that but your opinion doesn’t change it. You can deny that a safe, pushed off a building, is about to land on you but your opinion or how you ‘feel’ doesn’t change reality. Real love tells people the objective moral truth. Repent - or the safe will flatten you. As will a Holy God in judgement.

Excellent article. I agree that these folks cannot hear you say that you love them if you do not also condone gay sex or gay marriage. It is a very difficult issue.

Treat homosexuality the same way you treat cigarette smoking.
Good people can do bad things.
Saying that cigarette smoking is bad is not being ‘judgmental’, it’s ‘using your judgement’. If someone asks me ‘who are you to judge homosexuality’, that’s like asking me ‘who are you to judge cigarette smoking’. Who the hell do I have to be to ‘use my judgement’ and say the cigarette smoking is bad? I’m not saying smokers are bad people, they’re just doing a bad thing. Judgement, not judgmental. We as a society ‘tolerate’ cigarette smoking, but we don’t fall all over ourselves promoting it (like we seem to be doing with sodomy).
Christianity has been on the ropes for while now, and thinking like this is a major reason for it. There is no way, ever, that homosexuals will leave their sinfulness to embrace a true Christian life. Homosexuality is insanity and goes against every article of faith, our church and our families.
We don’t need to embrace “pride” month - we need to resist it, boycott it, and stick to attending church and praying for their salvation - while keeping our kids away from them.
