PONTE VEDRA, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said it has identified the man involved in an attempted murder-suicide stabbing at a Ponte Vedra Beach restaurant Saturday afternoon.
Deputies said the attack happened around 4:30 p.m. at Mr. Chubby’s Wings on Valley Circle. The Sheriff’s Office posted an update Sunday on its Facebook page and identified the accused stabber as 18-year-old Spencer Pearson, who is currently in the hospital being treated for self-inflicted injuries. Investigators said if he survives, he will face multiple felonies, including attempted murder.
Deputies said the attempted murder-suicide attack was targeted against a primary victim, whom Pearson knew.

Although St.Johns County where this incident took place is always ranked as one of the top school districts in Florida.
You put kids in bad schools, coming from crappy homes and fill their bodies with mind altering drugs, it’s no wonder they act out in ways that seem impossible.
It’s like holding a match over gasoline to see how close you can get before it goes off.
He brings chaos, crisis, insanity and despair. These kids are simply showing what that life is like.

In 2021 in the same county a 14 y/o boy killed a 13 y/o female classmate by stabbing her 114 times.
IIRC he WAS on some sort of meds.

This kid played on the high school football team which tells me his grades were decent.
I suspect we don’t know the whole story yet.
