they may know His Presence,
hear His voice very clearly, will never leave nor forsake them,

and that

He will honor their faithfulness to Him and to each other,
\be confidence in His oversight,
be comforted,
have peace as the ministry of surgery and healing takes place,
and let others minister to them in their needs.

I like your prayer and recited it myself. However, be aware that at advanced age surgery can be 100% successful (like with my mother at 102), yet the trauma is too much for the body and multiple organ failure follows. Perhaps the OP’s father is just young enough to avoid that, or has the strength to overcome it. I pray so.

My father fell and had titanium pins put into his hip. 3-4 if I recall correctly. He spent a month in a rehab place. He lived 7 more years to age 94. He stayed in his home. Just about every day he got on the little bus that took him to a senior daycare run by our religion. He kept busy and he kept circulating.

So...... Hip fracture is nor a death sentence. Prayers up and hopes up for your father and mother.
