In the 70’s because my best friend’s father was “confused” I met some of the original “Act Up!” organizers in Houston. Their goal was very simple, it was to integrate the “queer” community into the media from top to bottom (pun intended) so they could control the words. They have been successful.
Because of my friend I met literally 100’s of gay men. Being 16 at the time they ALL hit on me and that was funny at the time. One thing that really stood out was that almost all of them were self-loathing when you got to know them. To me the whole LBGT etc. thing is nothing more than psychologically messed up people attempting to force groupthink on anyone who is not “them” so they can feel less self-loathing. They insist that you agree with their mental illness and if you don’t you are the one that has a brain problem.
As far as the trans movement I assert that the people driving it are the transexuals themselves who have gone through the US schooling systems and are now shrinks, surgeons, big pharma employees and in a host of other businesses making big money off butchering kids. I’d guess that many of them in the medical fields have pivoted from making bucks off abortions to slinging trans services.
America is fed up with the LBG... crap.
There is virtually no upside to “embracing” gay pride, and considerable risk. Embracing “pride” is a terrible business decision. Transhieser-Busch did not just offend, their VP of marketing went out of her way to insult their core customers. People can always buy Miller or Coors. However, if you live in Dallas-Fort Worth or Kansas City, you only have one choice of team to root for, and there is only one baseball major league. The BLM debacle turned off most of their fans. I personally feel absolutely no qualms about my attitude towards race, and I will not be lectured and hectored by semi-illiterate sportscasters on ESPN. Now the same [jerks] are supposed to be enlightening me about tolerating, naye, embracing homosexuality? I don’t think so.

I do not think there is much money in “sexual assignment” surgery, not will there ever be. It is a shame, with all the need for medical care needed in this world, to waste resources to humor the delusions of a handful of mentally ill people. Like the United States Surgeon General.

I was not clear: People are not doing this for the money, they are in it because if ideology. In ten years there will many, hundreds, of lawsuits against practitioners of this ghastly ritual. The downside risk to this kind of surgery is bottomless.

Vanderbilt in Nashville is making TONS of money with this. I expect there are many others, and have heard that one of the hospitals in Boston is one of them.
