Good morning.

I love waffles. I bought a reconditioned hotel waffle maker years ago. It has made crispy beautiful waffles for over 30 years.

A neighbor of mine gave me fresh eggs the other day. He has chickens/rooster/turkeys in his back yard. And not the only one in my subdivision. Its become very popular. My nephew is a half mile from me (in the city limits) who is purchasing chickens too. He's also bought raised garden supplies. People are worried. (especially ones with several children)

Let me tell you about these fresh eggs and frying them in old Revere ware. ( I gave all my non-stick pots and pans to the salvation army-I'm not trustful of anything that has changed from the 70's on.) Well, the fresh eggs do not stick in Revere ware and the store eggs I have to use steel wool on the pan.

Since I've left the train we've lost two precious cats. One a rescue that LOVED my husband. He would watch out the window for my husband to come home, appreciated everything. We've brought in a girl who would wait on our roof for us to come home. And a boy who lived under our old Ranger. When it rained he would sit on a front tire. It took us 6 weeks to catch him even though he would scream in the morning for my husband to go out and feed him. We were sneaking food and placing it under the truck when we first noticed him. But he was something else to catch. Vet said not quite one year old. One of his ears is clipped straight and we found out our city has a catch and release program. News to us. He follows my husband around and talks a lot.lol

Our last cat is yellow and will not settle in the house. He needs fixing but would be something to handle trying to get him in a cage for the vet. As I type he's on our couch listening to golf and sleeping on a freshly washed blanket. (we've named him Trumpy-but when we're signlling he's in or out of the house-he's Elvis) The other cats love him but he's unpredictable as to if he'll be gentle. I miss you. Is your swan still part of your family? I've been rambling. Sorry. Take care.
