Today is the 26th.. It’s been 3 1/2 years of sobriety for me. This has been some of the most challenging months and years of my life, but also some of the most rewarding. This has NOT BEEN EASY. I suffer from good days and bad days. I’ve lost many old friends since my sobriety, but gained many new beautiful ones during this journey. I used to live for glory, self gratification and pleasure, but now I live for purpose. None of this would be possible without my firm belief in God. I’ll continue to fight my battles and demons daily but knowing I’ve climbed out of my own grave many times should give YOU inspiration and hope that anything is possible. If I can do it, YOU can do it.
