YES, I see your a Dawn person too. lol
Your'll probably think I'm crazy but nothing new...I backed my black truck out of the garage a month ago right before a big rain. Used a spray bottle of Dawn and water in both hands and went around my truck spraying. After the rain my truck looked as good as when I wash it.(I'm sure my neighbors thought I was crazy hurrying around the truck while it was sprinkling.

Thank you, both.....y’all just reminded me that I had two spots to get out of the family room rug (someone....not saying names, or, judging....dropped chocolate from an ice cream bar!) , so I used the Dawn/peroxide mix.
And....I also needed to remember to refill my (diluted) Dawn bottle sprayer...so, now I am set :)
I’ve never thought to use it on the car, before a rain....will have to check that one out. Thx.

Sounds like some good tips.
I have always used Dawn for my laundry. I will try some of these other tips, but me personally I wouldn’t stock up on it in preparation for an emergency.
Besides I will probably be dead before I would get it all used up and my kids would wonder what the h*ll was she going to do with all that softener. Lol
