It’s a rainy day to day here. And cool. But I let the kittens in anyway. I figure they only have so many days left to play together like maniacs. I guess they’ve learned the whole porch and it’s boring. Although there was a squirrel they were watching this morning.

dang right, didn't want to do real work for their money. No liability for taking bribes from the government, will the public ever figure it out?

Hard to say my footage because my house has been added on twice. One hallway alone is over 25 feet long. So long that it has three windows on one side to give light. A laundry room that was actually built to make false teeth in by the former owner. (reason for 3 windows in hallway so workers could see out while working in the office(laundry room)

I believe our family room is something like 18 by 30. With two sky lights-cathedral ceiling.

A French door then leads out to a porch with 7 windows and one French door-with another different roof height.ouch..lol Needless to say the porch metal roof didn't work with the slant of the cathedral roof.

Living room has windows that totaled 10 feet. I mention these windows because its not easy to heat and cool a house with so many windows and French doors leading outside.

Now my pin oak in the front helps a lot but I've lost-2 Ash/3Maples/another dying Maple..so my help in shade is really getting to be a problem. Now I do have a spring under my house so maybe its actually a plus during the hot summer months.

Sadly I have 5 different types/ages of windows on my house because of the add-ons. My porch has two different types because I bought 3 1952 old windows for $5.00 a piece and the builder used them..besides the others.

My house would probably drive most people crazy. I can't function in or around matching areas. I must have designs of all shapes and sizes to not go hyper. Sorry, got off the subject.

By the way my ice maker hasn't worked for three days. A first. Wondering if a hair dryer could unfreeze something to help get it going?
