Rep. James Comer is pushing back against disinformation being spread by Democrats about the ongoing bribery scandal involving President Joe Biden. In a recent op-ed, the congressman discussed four key details that debunk some of what has been said and express the seriousness of the issue.

Second, Democrats claim that the record is part of the documents Rudy Giuliani provided the FBI in January 2020. That’s not true. The FD-1023 document stands on its own and contains information from the FBI’s confidential human source dating back to another FD-1023 generated in 2017.
The claim that Rudy Giuliani sourced the FD-1023 in question is a lie that got repeated multiple times by Rep. Jamie Raskin, who is playing the part of Adam Schiff in obstructing the investigation into Biden. Raskin and other Democrats said that as a way to discredit the source. It is simply untrue, as Comer points out. The source in question was not Giuliani but a seasoned confidential human source that worked with the FBI going back to the Obama administration. Further, as noted, the FD-1023 that was generated in 2020 was a re-upping of what was submitted in 2017.
Sad day for AMERICA.

South African media is reporting that the country is mulling forfeiting its role as host of this year’s BRICS summit due to growing pressure from the West over the ICC arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It was on March 17 that the International Criminal Court issued the arrest warrant on charges of war crimes, which “requires” countries party to the Rome Statute to make the arrest. South Africa as a signatory would be under obligation, but non-signatories like China or India are not under obligation.
Pushing back against the pressure, China has stepped in, offering to assist South Africa with security:
China’s top police officer has promised South Africa that Beijing will help bolster security for the BRICS summit in August amid controversy over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s possible attendance while an international warrant is out for his arrest.
During a meeting with South African Police Minister Bheki Cele in Beijing on Thursday, Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong said China was willing to work with South Africa to “strengthen the security” of the BRICS summit to be held in Johannesburg on August 22-24.
August 22 may be a bad day for our dollar.
