I was a 16 year old in 1976 during the Bicentennial, living in Philadelphia. One of the best years of my life.

I look very much forward to 250 and bringing my kids together to celebrate with us.

I was only 15, ya geezer. It was grand: Freedom Train, CBS’ Bicentennial Minute every night etc etc .I can just imagine what an America-bashing guilt-ridden disaster it will be if we elect a rat President to preside over it

i was living in NYC in 1976 - and will never forget the tall ships. it was a time of renewed patriotism - and we could use a massive injection of that. of course we’ll have to decide whose history we’re going to use...
