It’s making lots of money for Disney.

The production budget was reportedly $200 to $250 million. General rule of thumb is that after you deduct marketing and distribution costs and the theaters' cut, a movie has to make at least 2.5 times the production budget before it even breaks even.

So it will not make any money for Disney until it hits $500 to $625 million at the box office. It has a long way to go.

Agree with your numbers. It’s a shame that every old Disney masterpiece has to be redone, updated, with new racial features. New woke and trans stuff too.
