It could be the illegals. But Texas seems to be “armadillo central” and Armadillos do carry Leprosy. Don’t hear much about those exposed. Wonder if there has been an upshot?

The good thing is that there’s a cure for it now with a combination of antibiotics....though already damaged nerves are an issue if not caught early enough.
