Maybe you should repost your longer comment about DeSantis on this thread.

back, by popular demand, or at least by request from lj:

Some possibilities I’m considering:

1. DeSantis is on team Trump. (This seems on ever shakier ground with each day that passes, but I’m still more than 50% convinced.)

2. Musk is on team Trump. If this is true, then it makes sense that he’d be involved in the DeSantis announcement.

3. Why is DeSantis running? To draw out and expose the anti-Trump, anti-MAGA forces in the GOPe. To drain cash from them.

4. Since I believe that the Patriots are in control, I also believe that Musk is on team Trump because I also believe that Twitter is a crucial factor in the Trump plan.

5. Why did DeSantis announce his candidacy on Twitter? Probably many reasons. But I think the #1 reason was to test the platform. Stress test, bot test, DDoS test, etc.

6. Why was the DeSantis announcement such a tech disaster? Was it really? Maybe not. Maybe the purpose of that was to draw more attention to it. More people will take a look at a train wreck than they will at a train that is boring and running normally.

7. DeSantis and Biden have similar roles in this plan. Libs will never listen to anything rational that Trump or any real conservative says. But they listen to B. They can see the idiocy of so much that he says and does and it’s hard for them to refute it. If you watch B carefully, not just to mock him, he actually says a few intelligent things. In his SoTU he was saying some of the same things as Trump was saying. When the libs are defending B, that is what they point to. They don’t realize they are pointing to TRUMP policies.

DeSantis is IMO fulfilling the same role with respect to anti-Trump conservatives ( - the ignorant Trump-averse ones, not the ones who are Deep State plants). I actually listened to the post-glitch part of the DeSantis announcement. Nothing super exciting, but it was solid in terms of conservative values. He made a lot of sense. IMO, if you listen with an open-mind instead of a mindset looking to find fault, you will hear things you like.

Do I think DeSantis can win. hahaha. no.

8. Is DeSantis intelligent? I think so. I think he is intelligent enough to know that he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance of winning. I think he is intelligent enough to know that he is committing political suicide to go up against Trump. So why is he doing it? IMO because he is part of the plan.

9. ... and one more thing that makes me think the DeSantis announcement was part of the plan :

Trump posted the parody of the tech glitches shortly after. It’s almost as if he knew in advance there would be tech glitches.

Am I asking you to agree with me? No. Just putting out some ideas for you to consider. For some who are worried about how things are going and/or confused about some of the crazy stuff happening, maybe these theories will make sense as a reassuring rational possibility in an ocean of insanity.

That is why I think about this stuff. When nothing seems to be making sense, I try to imagine how all ( or at least most ) of the pieces will fit together in a rational way.

So that is my case for why I think DeS is (semi secretly) on our side.

GO TRUMP. BEST. PRESIDENT. EVER.

TRUMP 2024
