Listen closely to the tape. The family didn’t say he was born in Kenya. That was something the interviewer wanted them to say. He jumped in and acted like his “grandmother” agreed when she hadn’t.
It’s also not been established that he went to Occidental as a foreign student. In the Seventies and Eighties, an “African-American” student who went to prep school was a much biger haul than an Indonesian or a Kenyan.
This is exactly right. She didn't speak English and the interviewer asked her a leading question to which she initially replied "yes."
I think the question was something along the lines of "do you remember when Obama was born..... here in Kenya?
Very dishonest interviewer and then he wouldn't let her take it back once it was explained to her better.
Is the interview and interpretation disputed when Sarah Obama said, “Obama passed through her hands” regarding Barack Hussein Obama II/Jr? You do know what that phrase means in their tribal culture as to birth circumstances, don’t you? See: https://www.calameo.com/books/005755142b5ae45ff1ee4
What post founding era President in U.S. history has had so many people all over the world saying at various time that Barack Hussein Obama II/Jr was “born in Kenya” or “Kenyan born”?
