The “dark triad” is a manifestation of what is called “reprobation”; it is spiritual psychopathy/sociopathy and the clinical description is found in Rom. 1:18-32 and II Tim. 3:1-5.
The only way to protect our children and ourselves is to avoid those who manifest this pathology.
Exactly and if that void is not filled with/by its rightful Occupant (the Holy Spirit) something unholy will take His place.

That’s what the mods posted back in 2013. I haven’t read anything since then that gives the impression that they’ve changed their standard. If it’s a different article then that’s not considered a duplicate in any circumstance AFAIK.

I’m not sure that traditional religion as it has been passed down to us is the only way to fill an emotional and moral void. But it certainly helps, by speaking in a very direct, powerful way to human mind and thought.
I think we are born with a certain awareness and understanding of the spiritual truths of our existence which is beyond words, and which can be powerfully sparked into consciousness by sound religious teachings and their symbology of many ‘flavors’. And it can be smothered by the brainwashing to which many of us allow ourselves and our kids to be subject.
