Just got back from the grocery store and saw an elderly couple (most likely married) step out of their vehicle sporting masks. Saw a few idiots in the store wearing them as well.
The left still wears them while driving alone. It’s the result of incapable self thought otherwise known as sheeple.

Yes. It was discouraging that most people just fell in line with NO push back. Stood in kindergarten circles and followed arrows on the floor in stores. Twilight Zone stuff. It would not surprise me if it was tried again the way things are going in our country.
I stopped by my local hospital / medical center complex yesterday; They had been wetting themselves for two years if someone walked in without a mask. FINALLY they took down the signs and the mask detector camera / temperature scanner. Only about half the people I saw were masked. It was a pleasant surprise.
Don’t know. Did you discuss their other private medical information with them? Have you in the past?
That would be my response: “If that’s what you want, cool. What other private medical information do you want to share? Mamagrams? STD tests? No one cares.”
I saw a couple of dumbasses saying that on Twitter. I thought, “Thank you for self-identifying.” (Though, usually, the purple hair, multiple face piercings and funky odor are enough.)
Allergy season is right. It sort of came on at once around here. Also, every liquor store or gas station you could want to rob has security cameras these days.
Most hospitals changed their policies last week when it was “officially” ended. I know the five hospitals where my wife works stopped mandatory masks (unless you were in the areas where they have always been required.)
Agreed that there are and we’re times it makes sense. Most of this we all see is just fear. I know some elderly people that are still hiding in their homes. I am concerned they have become mentally unstable over this all. Sad really but it’s their life so if they want to not live their last few years it’s their choice.
Big car show here last Saturday in Sandpoint, ID. I saw exactly one person wearing a mask, out of several thousand people, and it was a stereotypical Karen who checked all the boxes. Obviously there may have been others that I didn’t see, but locally masks are history.
They are ugly people you don’t want to see anyway.

I sometimes wonder about those underachievers who were posted at the entrances of stores to bark at people about masks. I never went to one of those places (Target, Lowe’s, Costco, Home Depot, I think some grocery stores…) during that mask nonsense.
But that was probably the time of their lives for those mask Nazis. That had to have been such a letdown for them when the mask mandates went away and they weren’t needed to bark at people coming in the store anymore.
Someday, they’ll be HOA presidents.
The ones that get me are driving alone in their cars, with the windows up and still wearing the stupid masks.
