GROVETOWN, Ga. – Caurey Rollins, a Glenn Hills Elementary School teacher’s aide who previously faced charges of child molestation for licking a young boy’s feet, found himself back in custody on Friday. This time, Rollins was arrested for approaching another child and inquiring about his feet, a direct violation of the conditions of his release. The incident has reignited concerns about the safety of children and raised calls for stricter measures against potential predators.
The alarming incident occurred in Columbia County, Georgia, just days after Rollins had been granted bond while awaiting trial on charges of child molestation. According to law enforcement officials, Rollins approached a 12-year-old boy who was playing basketball in his driveway. Pulling over his white Camaro, Rollins proceeded to show the young boy a photo of feet displayed on his phone. When the child declined his request, Rollins persisted, asking to see the boy’s feet. Sensing danger, the boy quickly ran inside his home to seek refuge. Fortunately, his vigilant mother recognized Rollins from a news report about his prior foot-licking arrest and immediately reported the incident to authorities.
The recent arrest has shed light on Rollins’ previous encounter at the Urban Air Adventure Park in Augusta, where he was accused of licking a 7-year-old boy’s feet. This unsettling incident took place on January 14, within a fenced play area at the popular recreational facility. It was reported that Rollins approached the child, asking him to sit in front of him. He then proceeded to tickle the young boy’s feet and ultimately licked them, all while shining a flashlight from his phone.
Rollins, a now former Physical Education paraprofessional at Glenn Hills Elementary School, had been employed at the school for the past academic year.
