Why desantis has waited to declare he's running for president, and how he's committing campaign fraud.

Friends of ron desantis was a soft money pac created to seek donations and fund his re-election for governor.

This pac was also what desantis has planned on using, to illegally convert and use to fund his run for president.

FEC campaign laws say it is illegal to convert state level campaign donations to use in federal offices, and regulations concerning limits and fund raising for federal offices are stricter than many states.

desantis appears to have deliberately lied and hidden his intent to run for president, and delayed any announcement, in part to avoid FEC campaign laws regarding running for federal office/president.

As it comes closer to the date desantis has sort of committed to announcing his run for presidency, some have wondered why it seems desantis has been undecided on an announcement. Well, it seems desantis has been delaying announcing, to continue to illegally fund raise and get donations to run for president.

As noted, FEC places limits on campaign fund raising, stricter than states concerning campaign contributions for state offices.

Thus, desantis' biggest problem was how he was going campaign for governor, and fund his presidential run.

To do so, desantis has had to lie about his intent to running for president, and avoid saying anything about his actual announcement to run for presidency.

This was to avoid having any contributions falling under the FEC regulations.

FOR (friends of ron desantis) had raised over $200 million for spending on re-election desantis, of which, with continued campaign fund raising since his re-election, contains somewhere between $85-100 million.

desantis has already started to fraudulently convert this $85-100 million to fund his presidential campaign.

This money is what is considered soft money, and is covered by the bipartisan mccain-feingold act.

This act says soft money, which is money raised outside of federal campaign regulations, can not be used in federal elections.

What desantis is doing, is fraudulantly laundering the money.

The next step is the new pac, empowered parents, will then transfer the $85-100 million to a federal campaign pac to fund desantis' run for president.

Well, desantis is taking cues and following what rep. byron donalds did, in transfering 100's of thousands from a state pac, to a federal one, and the FEC deadlocked on taking action in that case.

No, it is not illegal to transfer funds to run for one office. It is perfectly normal for a candidate running for office to wait and see how well he’s able to round up supporters before announcing. EVERY senator or governor who ever ran for president did so. And yes, Trump waited longer than most candidates in 2016, waiting until mid-June.
