Friends of ron desantis was a soft money pac created to seek donations and fund his re-election for governor.
This pac was also what desantis has planned on using, to illegally convert and use to fund his run for president.
FEC campaign laws say it is illegal to convert state level campaign donations to use in federal offices, and regulations concerning limits and fund raising for federal offices are stricter than many states.
desantis appears to have deliberately lied and hidden his intent to run for president, and delayed any announcement, in part to avoid FEC campaign laws regarding running for federal office/president.

And not many are judging DeSantis by the criteria you are using. so there’s that. If you want to judge based on those criteria, go for it. Others are not viewing him the same way.

Oh stop. Trump didn’t do crap for DeSantis in 2022 when he won by 20 points. Trump is so jealous of DeSantis it isn’t even funny. Trump is so immature.
Then we can say, you are using certain chosen criteria, to highlight certain points.
You are not giving us a complete analysis of the record of Trump and DeSantis, and comparing and contrasting the candidates. You are using only certain selected criteria to make a point.
You are choosing to highlight these criteria. You are saying these criteria are very important.
I don’t know all the ins and outs of campaign finance law. So I can’t comment on the laws you say were broken. I’m just saying there is not broad discussion of any of this, and very few people are using these criteria to reject DeSantis, as you appear to be.
If you want to discuss those matters, go ahead. That’s what this site is all about. Make your case and see if others agree. Go for it.

Regardless he is not sitting in the seat of power. He’s keeps droning on blaming others. Where has that gotten him? He made tons of money as president. He was still operating his golf courses overseas no less. A hotel right next door to the White House where convenient for his VIPs to stay.
