Why don’t you read the article first, before you start pearl clutching and ranting about it being a hit piece? You link to a RedState article that suggests Roger Stone is behind this “hit piece”, and yet the “hit piece” only mentions Roger Stone twice and takes a critical view of the criticisms he’s directed at Casey DeSantis. From the article:
“Have you ever noticed,” Roger Stone, the notorious political mischief-maker who is both a DeSantis antagonist and a many-decades-long Trump loyalist, remarked in a Telegram post last fall, “how much Ron DeSantis’ wife Casey is like Lady Macbeth?” — an agent, in other words, of her husband’s undoing.
Stone’s hyperbolic charge is but a piece of a broader effort on the part of Trump forces to kill in the crib the candidacy they consider their greatest threat. They recently have scored a series of key albeit early strategic wins — a flurry of in-state endorsements, for instance, contributing to the perception of a novice, faltering DeSantis that’s also visible in a slide in early primary polls.
I have a question for you.
We know Trump was criminally set up, we know top officials in these government agencies were criminally undermining and attacking Trump and his associates, 24/7 for 7 years, and then attempted to destabilize and overthrow his administration, ALL of which totally influenced the last election. We know this.
And DeSantis’ response to all this high treason against Trump is to run AGAINST Trump?
