Brits eat their tea and crumpets and read about us.

Love tea and crumpets.

Not fond of the BBC.

Why are Bud Light and Disney attacking normal Americans?

In the ‘80s there was a book written about how to normalize homosexuality; I don’t remember what it was called but it was a playbook of sorts. One way was getting Hollywood to promote it, another was getting homosexuals hired into HR of large corporations. Once there these did their best to ensure other homosexuals were hired into executive positions. Then they formed Gestapo-style Diversity Councils and accelerated the process.

Looks like it worked pretty good.

RE: Why Bud Light and Disney are under attack from conservatives

So, NOT patronizing a product because the company’s values conflict with mine is their definition of being “under attack” huh? GOT IT.

How about going back to the values that originally made me patronize your product? Is that too much to ask for? Are you even considering that alternative?

The better question is why conservatives are under attack from Disney and Bud Light.

Conservatives are not running ad campaigns that spit in the face of Disney or Bud Light and deliberately try to undermine their values and principles.

“Companies have been caught in the crossfire of America’s culture wars before, as the country grows more polarised and firms face pressure from staff, customers and shareholders on the left and right to pick a side.”

How about doing what public companies are REQUIRED to do, which is to INCREASE SHAREHOLDER VALUE, and if those demanding that real men be replaced with cross-dressers are unable to explain how doing such increases shareholder value, then simply ignore them.

“Will the fights break its longstanding alliance with big business?”

Here’s some breaking news for the BBC - “big business did that a long time ago”.

We’ve long passed the point where giving any consideration to what the Rats have to say is meaningful.

I have hated the Disney philisophy for 50+ years. Disney has appeared to be magically benign, but have always been diabolical, feeding the public small doses of twisted thoughts, turning millions away from the Lord.

"Why Bud Light and Disney are under attack from conservatives."

Under attack... I believe we have the right of, "freedom of association". Yes.?

Preferring one product, place or person over another, for whatever reason, is hardly an attack.. It's called "freedom of choice"...

Republicans, who have traditionally been allied with big business over matters like lower taxes and light regulation.

The author doesn't understand the American political landscape and political economy. Republicans like lower taxes, as does big business.

Big business likes regulations, since it hinders their smaller, more nimble competitors, while big businesses are able to weather the additional burdens of regulations.

“under attack”

More BS.

The woke act out, and we react.

In contrast to leftist causes which openly attack anyone who criticizes their narrative(s).

We have standards and reject businesses who embrace counter culture.

“Attack” is a pathetic defense for a war begun by the left.

But legislative moves targeting firms mark a new frontier for Republicans, who have traditionally been allied with big business over matters like lower taxes and light regulation.
~~~~~
You can’t forfeit decades of tax money at all levels of government to eliminate private enterprise in favor of government-regulated businesses without enforcing woke policies which endanger children.
Stop the regulation and stop the taxation. Simple.
