I’ve contacted multiple members of both sides of Congress and held up their own words to them, with proof, asking for action.

This is a worthwhile activity. The compromised congress critters need to know they’re wrong and despised, but don’t expect them to change their ways. They’re compromised and fear their masters more than they fear you. You won’t kill them.

I have an uncle that went foul-mouthed, in mixed company, about Pres. Trump’s peccadillos. I called him out and asked him why he didn’t go off on Pres. Clinton...It’s like he never heard me ask the question.

Other family members heard you say the truth. You don’t know how they received the information. If your uncle is a bully, they’ll never speak out, but voting happens in private. Maybe they stick it to the bully every time they pull the curtain closed.

I feel a kinship with almost all golfers so I’m going to put this in terms I know you’ll immediately understand. You can’t control the bounces of the ball. You hit it out there the best you can, you go find it and then you hit it again. You don’t quit in the middle of a round, even when you’re in danger of not breaking 100 and thinking about tossing your clubs into the pond. That’s not what people of character do. We take the bad bounces, knowing others might be getting bad bounces too. And every now and then, we come into the clubhouse to find out everyone else struggled too and we’re in the hunt after all. That wouldn’t have been possible if we just gave up.

As a final point, you should consider that the crickets you hear, rather than pithy comebacks, are because you made a shot they couldn’t return. Come on, stylin, buck up. Golfers are made of sterner stuff than that. We play the ball as it lies and play the course as we find it, until we hole out on the last hole of our stipulated round. Be more cheerful, if for no other reason than it annoys the left. And you’ve come to the right place for a spine adjustment. Together, we’ve got this.

maybe I’m looking at all this with a jaundiced eye.
I read what RitaOK wrote in #1411 and what I got out of it wasn’t what others did.

Early we had the TEA party and they took action.
The left and MSM, including POTUS started calling us TeaBaggers(and not in a good way) among other things.
The squishes infiltrated and compromised the whole movement - took it over and gave us the likes of Jeff Flake.

MAGA is a great thing and so far, hasn’t been compromised much - except for the prosecutorial misconduct of Pres. Trump and the overreach of the left.

Seems I should be doing something more than disseminating info.
Yet, when people did do something, it resulted in many years in prison for ...trespassing?

I can understand being gun-shy to take action.

As for golf? my game went south...can barely break 100 and I’ve been put on an index soft cap again. nearing a hard cap.
Ready to chuck it all...and take up shooting full-time - might come in handy more than golf.

I recall playing a golf match in HS - I hit a good drive then a dog ran across the road, under the GC fence and took my ball back home across the road...
