Use care.
The author does not reference a known radar tracking system; actually names \none\.
Military transponders can be (and ARE) are toggled off and on by the crew according to orders.
Any transponders you see on a tracking system are ON because the military WANTS you to see them.
Any date/time in an archived track can be manipulated by the MIL *or* DoState/CIA to achieve a story-line.
DoState/CIA are hiring mercenaries to do their dirty.
Many believe that N2 was sabo’d by CIA-hired mercs.
Mercenary air crews can toggle transponders just as well as MIL.

This one smells of falsity from end to end.
IMHO

Good catch, Cletus, on the radar tracking system, and the aircrafts turning on and off their transponders.

And I agree, that P8 —wanted— to be noticed... its designed to look for things.
