Sometimes the side effects make them feel terrible. It can take time for doctors to figure out what works best for them.
True but the problem is that when they stop taking the meds due to side effects they tend to forget their doctor’s appts and focus more on hiding from aliens and CIA agents.
That may sound facetious but I’ve had exactly that conversation with more than one schizophrenic.
