There’s someone in our complex who looks like they have a solar generator hooked up to their apartment. I don’t know anything about how well they work. I’m sure they would do nothing during a storm, but if the power took a while to return one might be helpful. The government might even help with paying for it.
Of course, right now we’re dealing with smoke from the fires in Canada. That’s probably reducing the output.
Anyway, it could be something to check out.
Very interesting. When ‘Face gets back to Utah, where there’s sun, it could be a thing.
We did have power outages in Hurricane, but they were short, as the city got onto them in a hurry. Lots of hotels in town catering to tourists from all over the world who want to see the beauty of Zion National Park, 15 miles from our door! It wouldn’t do to have disgruntled tourists!
I’ll check out the solar generator, though. Just because I’m curious!
