I had to do some work outside all afternoon yesterday, and found out how strong the sun is... came close to getting a sunburn... even though I’ve been in and out of the sun a fair bit all season...

Ain’t Skeered!

We will have a sunny and warm day with particulates from Canadian fires. I am glad the fires aren’t actually threatening where we live.

The mesh seems to be keeping the pigeons off the balcony. There’s a little space outside the railing next to the garage roof they seem to want to hold on to. We nailed down some wire contraptions that are supposed to keep them from walking there. Man vs. Pigeon normally doesn’t go well for Man. As long as they don’t watch “The Birds” we should be OK.

Another good Wordle day heading into the weekend. Yesterday I almost forgot I had to use my new starter word. It’s becoming more normal.

Another week that just raced by... again...

So it looks like we got through this initial heatwave without ever touching triple digit temps here (locally in our neck of the woods)... touched 99 degrees F briefly on Tuesday afternoon... also noticed that it seemed a lot drier (relatively speaking) over the past few days...

It seemed that I should have gotten this one sooner...
