Rumors that I had a heart attack are completely false. I am alive and healthy.

Good Sunday Morning!
Hoping that the weekends are moving along nicely... and much rest is found today!
I had a similar pattern to yours today, ‘Face... only “yeas” or “nays” in the blocks...

(In the golf analog, this Birdie on the 12th hole puts me at nine under for the round... β³οΈ)
If this keeps up (which it most likely won’t), I may need to adjust the scoring to something like:
1 - Eagle
2 - Birdie
3 - Par
4 - Bogey
5 - Double Bogey
6 - Triple Bogey
to better reflect reality...
That assumes that a 3 row solution is the expected norm (Par)... yet my long-term stats argue that “Par” is still a four row solution... I think that I have just stumbled into a bit of an aberration here, it will likely clear up before this round is over...
I feel like my son’s mother a lot these day, and yes, some days, when life throws me curve balls, I feel like his grandmother.
Hopefully, he’ll leave early enough today so that he doesn’t have to wait for the train, like he did the last time he came to pick me up. I reminded him yesterday to leave at 0830 so that wouldn’t happen. If he doesn’t have to wait for a train, it’s about seven minutes between places. Otherwise, it could be up to 15.
Some things, I remember well. Other things, well, it’s just good I keep a journal of sorts.
Good job!
I eliminated a bunch of consonants, and as I was going down the list of available words, I saw this one and decided to try it. Strange. Surprising, as well! I’ll take it!
Church was good, though FS was sneezing as soon as I got in the car. He’s been around my perfume most of his life until he moved out, so what’s the deal? Anyway, it was a nice service, and I wore red, white and blue.
I thought there would be more people with those colors, since there are a lot of military-types in the ward, but not so much. He complimented me on my choice of dress today, which he never does.
And we went in the VW! :o])
Maybe he was sneezing before you got in the car, and you didn’t know because you weren’t in it.
We had a guest priest from Nicaragua. I think they have a custom of long sermons in Nicaragua ;-). He’s one of several priests who were thrown in jail in Nicaragua and then kicked out of the country.
That’s possible. He said his allergies were bothering him and he does have a lot of them — everything except horses and roses! I gave him the benefit of a doubt. There were also a lot of “new” perfumes in church today, as there were several visiting families.
Maybe the people in Nicaragua need long sermons! And also, maybe he was kicked out of the country because he was popular and the least repulsive thing was banishment.
It probably wouldn’t do to get the locals too upset about a priest. Some of those little ladies still know how to inflict curses that work.
I’ve been fighting sleep since I got home. I dunno wassupwithat! I hate when I get like this because it just makes things so difficult.
In a little while, I’ll be headed for the blanket show, so hopefully, I can stay awake.
I had some strange dreams last night, that indicate sad news from a distance and possibly a legacy. I don’t like the sound of that, for sure.
There might not be much else to do in Nicaragua. Watch government TV?
I hope you have a good night and feel better tomorrow, with no bad news from a distance. Maybe you’ll get good news and a legacy.
Yeah, I can’t imagine there’s much to do in Nicaragua besides watch turtles lay their eggs and then wait for the eggs to hatch....
Thanks. I’m hoping it’s a better day all the way around!
We get all kinds of cars.
Guy showed up last night in a bone stock Chevy Nova with original wheels and hubcaps and a straight six under the hood. Completely clean, original paint, like it was lightly used for 50 years, always garaged...
Kenny showed up in his Nova from the same year, except his is built out for drag racing as a gasser. No straight six for him. He’s running a 496 V-8 with a Holly 1050 Dominator pumping 130 octane race fuel, has a roll cage, 5-point harness, line lock, all tubbed out with 18-inch Mickys on a narrowed rear end — ballpark 800hp to the pavement.
Couple showed up with an all-original late-1940’s Volkswagen Beetle complete with rooftop luggage rack and whitewall tires.
There was a super clean, dark green Pontiac GTO that was so pristine — every visible part looked like it was fresh from the assembly line.
A couple of cars are for sale. The owner of a white 1974 Corvette running a 407 V-8 is looking for $22k, and a 1968 Chevelle SS running the factory 396 V-8 and 4-speed manual transmission in good condition is on the market for a negotiable sum.
It’s always a great time to look at who’s got what, who’s changed what, who’s new here — a fun social event, AND it’s a kid-friendly environment; in automotive circles, good parents don’t have to sail to the rescue if someone says the word “drag.”
That sounds almost exactly like the '63 Nova a friend had when we lived in CA! I was the pit crew for a while, and those were some good days. I DID get to drive it while it was still street legal, so there is that!
Yep, kid friendly and even single women could go without being manhandled.
My son restores VWs, and sells them if there is a need, though he prefers to keep them and drive them.
Good Monday morning, Wordle Fans. Remember to honor our War Dead. Stay safe today, and if you’re on the roads, make sure you watch out for the other guy!
Today’s effort was just that — an effort!

Hello! (Robt waves from across the waves.)
Sounds like a lot of fun! and some great cars... especially that 1968 Chevelle SS!
Good Monday Morning!
Hoping that everyone has a meaningful Memorial Day.
Another interesting pattern on the Wordle front... either black or green all the way...

Hi, Robt!
What are you doing across the waves again? And which ones? (I know: if ya tell me ya’ll have ta kill me, cuz loose lips sink ships!)
Stay safe today, no matter where you are!
Mama cat sez, “Don’t you sass ME!”
Good morning. I hope you had a good night, and that there was no cat spew to deal with before your coffee.
I went back to bed at 0500 and didn’t set the alarm, as I usually do. Almost three hours later, here I am!
FS is going to the capitol today to visit the memorial for all those who gave their lives in wars. He says he has always done it and he has always done it alone. He said he used to visit all the memorials for each of the wars, but lately, he’s just visited the one for Viet Nam. His dad fought in that war, but I don’t know if that’s why he only visits that one, now.
He’ll swing by here when he’s done and take me to Kroger for the crackers and raspberry breakfast bars. Then he’ll go home and try to do some of the work PW has assigned him. *unngh*
Sounds like a plan. I had an okay night. DP and the kids went to the gym this morning, and I went back to bed for a while. Don’t know why I’m so tired. I take vitamins with iron!
Jake is cranky because it’s wet outside, although the rain has stopped for now.
