BTW, Cadillac Mountain is the place of first light (sunrise) on CONUS in the winter months. In the summer, it happens at Mars Hill mountain, named for Hezekiah Mars.

Now Hezekiah was the famed king with the account of the sundial of "Ahas" that went back 10 degrees. Amazing miracle.

In normal day rotation-terms, 10 degrees is 40 minutes, which just so happens to be the difference in the day lengths between Mars and Earth.

Timekeeping on Mars uses 24-hour Mars-days, so every day the dial goes back 10 degrees, so to speak.

And don't get me started on the wind turbines on the ridgeline of MarsHill, 28 of them, the access road from both the south and north (diivided as 20 and 8, right to left, facing east).

People deride the corrupt, dysfunctional, envirowacked wind *power* schemes, but who's really in charge of the planet? Certainly not those folks.
