I stopped watching them in 2008. I watch no news programming on any platform. Don't even watch Trump's rallies. At 75, politics does not control my life, nor should it. Having outlived every other member of my family, I cherish whatever time the Lord gives me, and won't waste it watching that crap. As it is, all the years I was glued to Fox News, is time I will never get back.
Hey Mass 55th. I understand your frustration with TV news. At least commenting on FRee Republic keeps your debating and American way-of-thinking powder dry. Speaking of gun powder, reading your user name, I'm reminded of the terrific 1989 film, Glory, that popularized the bravery of the 54th Massachusetts during the Civil War. One final thought for you is my Dad's comment after experiencing D-Day Normandy and D-Day Okinawa as a gunner's mate aboard LST 520. He told us kids, "If you say you weren't scared, you weren't there." And that comment seems to echo your tag line. All the best... |
