A&M used to be a GREAT engineering school, especially the nuclear engineering department.

So, I guess that we will have to start planning to add A&M to the list of (so called) universities we will NOT be hiring STEM folks from.

What would the top 5 schools be you would hire STEM folks from? It seems as if every school, except maybe CalTech, has abandoned merit admissions and is steeped in DEI.

I had a couple new employees recruited from Rutgers in 2016. It was necessary to install spelling checkers in the software source code "lint" tools. The comments were strewn with misspelled words. Not just typos, crap like "nesasary". Our source code was a deliverable to the customer. It was embarrassing to have to deal with the problem.
