What Joe Biden's Impeachment Would Look Like
Newsweak ^ | 5/11/23 | Darragh Roche

President Joe Biden is facing the prospect of impeachment by Republicans in Congress amid as-yet unspecified allegations of a "criminal scheme" involving bribery and an unnamed foreign individual.

Senator Chuck Grassley and Representative James Comer, both Republicans, are demanding that the FBI produce an unclassified record "alleging a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national."

Comer, who is chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, has issued a subpoena to the FBI seeking an unclassified FD-1023 document that a whistleblower has told the Republicans exists.

The FBI was given until May 10 to comply with the subpoena, though it was not clear what information the document might contain.

No specific allegations have been made against Biden but the record in question "allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions," according to a press release from Grassley and Comer last week.

White House spokesman Ian Sams strongly criticized the Republicans in a statement shared with Newsweek last Wednesday, saying they were "floating anonymous innuendo, amplified by the megaphone of their allies in right-wing media, to get attention and try to distract and deflect from their own unpopular ideas and lack of solutions to the issues the American people actually care about."

It would look EXACTLY like the ‘investigation’ into Hillary’s illegal server.

They’d let TWO weeks pass and then announce they’re not gonna do anything about it.

Come on, we all know the drill…

It won’t happen so it won’t look like anything

You are correct sir, unfortunately.

The Reps have a Constitutional duty to impeach Biden. The evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors is overwhelming. The Dem-controlled Senate won’t convict, but the trial will provide the best opportunity to present the evidence to the American people. It will also expose Deep State’s role in the cover-up. And MSM will be forced to cover the story rather than ignoring it as is the case now.

Trump was impeached twice. They were politically motivated shams. In contrast, Biden merits impeachment. The Reps must have the courage to proceed to impeachment and confront the inevitable firestorm from the Dems and the MSM who will attack them. And the GOPe will try to undermine the effort with the same old refrain that Reps should not stoop to the level of the Dems. Impeachment is the only way Biden will be held accountable, i.e., in the court of public opinion.

floating anonymous innuendo

Translation - Those bank records are not bank records. They're pixie dust.

(the records (suspicious activity reports and wire transfers) were turned in
so the banks cant back out now and say it didn't happen. Catch-22 for the banks.)

Impeachment would create an unacceptable scenario for the Dems in which Biden’s criminal organization is exposed in the Senate. He will be retired before that is allowed to happen.

If Biden gets impeached it’s because the deepstate views him as a liability going forward.

Yes, thank you! Why do we speculate on things that will never occur?

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Biden will be taken out soon with an illness or resignation long before the GOP has the votes to do anything. Biden will be an excellent patsy—to blame if things get worse. Best case for the Democrats is if Biden is assassinated by a deranged Trump Supporter in a MAGA Hat. Idiot Harris becomes President, selects Hillary, as VP, the Resigns in the face of scandal. Hillary pardons her and Hunter “For the good of the Nation” to face Trump in the election. Street violence, assassinations, burning cities and more corruption in “Swing States” (the only ones that count) in the election that Hillary will win in a “landslide.” Then comes the arrest of Trump and his family (all save Mary) and Civil War—North vs South.

The problem isn’t how many RINOs vote against.

Removal requires 67 Senators. Suppose all Republicans voted to remove Biden? You would still need 18 Democrats to convict.

In most cases you would be correct, one President getting elected won’t make a long-term difference.

Trump is a perfect example, no matter how much people want to reelect him, at most he will be around only 4 more years, what are the chances he would have a Congress that went along with his policies for the entire 4 years ??

Anything Trump could accomplish would be completely reversed under the next Democrat President, just like Biden did to Trump’s policies.

In order to make lasting changes, you would need 2-3 or more Presidents in a row to make changes and have them passed into law, which is unlikely.

As yet unspecified…. It’s a total mystery what they could possibly think that Joe Biden’s family members did, and Joe didn’t know a thing about them. He was busy being a Vice President serving his country. And he was elected by a larger majority than Obama himself, PBNJ.

What Joe Biden's Impeachment Would Look Like

Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And Joe's gone

“ And the GOPe will try to undermine the effort with the same old refrain that Reps should not stoop to the level of the Dems.”

Of the 221 GOP Members of Congress, how many do you imagine would vote to impeach Biden? 50?

More, but not enough to impeach. The only caveat would be a “smoking gun” revelation that would force them to vote for impeachment and cause them to fear Rep and Independent voters more than the MSM. That is a distinct possibility.
