I was a good high school and collegiate thrower. I was nationally ranked for a while (Top 25 nationally) in high school and top 50 (all professionals and collegiate) in my 20s. I was good, but I wasn’t THAT good so to speak. I threw with women who were. When I started coaching, there were middle school boys (who throw the same weight as the women in the shot and discus) throwing as far as the best high school girl throwers (45-50 in shot put and 150 in discus). There is no discussion that this only grows as boys become men.
The best women pole vaulters don’t go as high as some high school boys. Other events are the same.
They might as well throw Title IX in the trash can.......................
