The media didn’t need Trump to begin lying. They lied perpetually about Reagan and then again about Gingrich. Once they decided the ends justified the means, (aka advocacy journalism) they had carte blanc to spout whatever lies they wanted, peaking with the “mostly peaceful” riots and stolen election of 2020.

The New York Times announced a few years ago that defeating Trump was the important thing. They gave themselves a free pass to lie all they want. How can they now reclaim their honor or their usefulness? Journalism lost it's way when idiots started writing for 'prizes' rather than for their readers. It's been downhill ever since. This latest stuff is just more crap.
