One of the most important parts of any military offensive is surprise. When an army loudly proclaims when and where they are going to attack they almost never succeed unless they have absolutely overwhelming superiority in numbers or quality of weapons.

I doubt seriously Ukraine is advertising the details of a planned counterstrike. Talking heads surmise and guess, as that is what they do. Think about it: If they were accurate, they’d be taken off the air. The fact they haven’t suggests that Ukraine sees it as psyops, and thus useful.
