I love watermelons. But I’m also pre-diabetic (right on the edge). And watermelon has a high glycemic index. Moderation in all things, I guess.
My problem is that I’m never moderate. So I guess I’d better avoid watermelons, and stick to chewing cardboard.
Interesting as the glycemic load is considered low? Quick internet search and there is all kinds of advice that doesn’t rule watermelon out of the diabetic diet.
