Black light flashlights are GREAT for finding tomato hornworms in late evening/night. Their white patches glow under black light and it’s far easier to find them then.

Scorpions also glow under black light.

Ergot and other fungi also glow under black light. Useful if you decide to grow grains such as rye.

Especially useful for Ergot! Not something you want to eat.

(I think the Pythian Priestesses at the Delphic Oracle were given ergot in their food.)
