Most networks are going to start the telecast at about 5am Eastern time. PBS will start much earlier, simulcasting the BBC.
Oh good, my opening to bash DR Biden’s fashion sense..First and foremost, it is time to get rid of that horrible, straggly wig that she wears and get a short hair cut or a short wig. She always looks like she just tumbled out of someone’s bed. Next, you are an OLD lady, and those varicose encrusted legs need to be covered up. While it is fashionable for young women to go barelegged, a woman of your age needs to wear stockings. As my daughter says, nobody wants to see your wrinkly old legs. I’m not done. The suit she wore to the coronation was ill fitted and matched her legs, blue and wrinkly. Those sleaves looked like accordions they were so bunched up. On to the granddaughter, I actually have those yellow curtains in my front bedroom. I had to go check to see if they were still there. I think I’m done.
Maybe rector — whatever that is.

Wow you seem angry all the time. I was replying to your statement that you proclaim faith and yet you speak with sharp tongue in most of your writing. You have written to someone commenting about his impression “you disgust me”. Notwithstanding the simple statement why would anyone care what disgusts you relative to opinion, you conflate your opinion with facts. Your opinion is hardly dispositive.
But to the point even this response to me is full or anger and venom. Usually when people proclaim the faith they are recognizable by their love and kindness. They have peace. You certainly project neither peace nor joy. As such to watch people proclaim the faith in words, it seems that it should be pointed out when one’s profession are in conflict with one’s words and demeanor.
Perhaps when offered a contrary opinion from someone who states he has personal knowledge of Charles, one might be wise and listen to find discernment instead of being arrogant and self righteous in your judgments that are based on nothing more than your opinion. And what others have said.
It never hurts to be curious and hear other perspective. You might just learn something.

It's interesting to me for totally genealogical reasons. All I can say is that I'm glad Charles and what's-her-face never had kids between them. I shudder to think! I mean, I'd rather not be related to her...

At 60 years old and not particularly a Monarchist, watching this moved me more than I thought it would. Much to my surprise.
Elizabeth had already been Queen for 10 years when I was born, but I remember my parents talking about her Coronation, which they'd specially bought a telly for, so to see it live and now was a great moment. I should live long enough to see the next one, but we'll see.
Still have yet to see a pic of Kate’s dress.

I like traditions and I like the British Monarchy. Warts and all. I hope that New King Charles does well. Then England/UK has William after Charles. Prince William looks very solid with a solid, gracious wife and lovely children. Princess Charlotte is the go-getter among the offspring. Keep an eye on her in the coming years. She looks very intelligent to me.
